BAE Systems has opened applications for its 2026 intake, seeking new apprentices, undergraduates, and graduates for roles at sites nationwide. The Humber region, with a focus on the Brough air division, is a key target for these openings.
In total, the company plans to fill 53 apprenticeships, 10 undergraduate positions, and 26 graduate roles at the Brough base for next year. These openings are part of a larger package that includes about 1,100 apprenticeships and 2,227 total UK roles across its facilities in Scotland, the North West, the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber, and the South and South East. Opportunities span multiple business areas—from air, land, and weapon systems to digital intelligence, electronic systems, maritime services, naval ships, and submarines.
This recruitment comes on the heels of a record year for the company, which reports more than 6,800 young people in training across the UK.
