Check the referenced thread. Many people were reimbursed by AnyCard. Home Depot was difficult.

I've have combine all any cards into one, but whether you can transfer the exact amount can differ between retailers. As an example, Pizza Pizza does it to the nearest dollar, but a few retailer *cough Boston Pizza* does it to the nearest $25

I just checked...it appears XBOX is only $25, $50, $100! There's no slider.

Yes you can add it to your account or give it to someone else. it's just a card number plus pin.

It is however a good way to buy eShop titles. Some "physical" games now only come as a download code (eg. Split Fiction), which is a shame. Other worthy games are only available on the eShop (eg. Fast Fusion).
